There isn't a beach at Puerto Calero, Playa Blanca spans along several, from Playa Montaña Roja to Las Coloradas. Of course there's also Punto Papagayo, the network of eight beaches is a short journey by car along a toll road, so be sure to take supplies. There's usually something for everyone. El Golfo and Janubio to the north are black gravel or pecon beaches, as the island heads north towards Timanfaya. |
