Maria and Joachim Rosenthal opened the restaurant in 1984. El Tomate is an established quality restaurant in Puerto del Carmen. The staff pride themselves that it's one of 'the' restaurants to eat in during your visit to the Island.

El Tomate is well known across the island for its home-made food, it also serves international Cuisine, using only fresh ingredients.
